Large extended family sessions are always special, especially when they bring together grandparents, cousins, siblings and everyone in between. Getting everyone together in one place takes some planning, but when it all comes together, it is SO worth it. I had photographed one of these families before, so it was really nice to see her again and meet the rest of her family. We had such a beautiful day and a great location, and there were so many combinations to capture!
Of course we got the big family photo, but I also made sure we got all the other photos that I know families adore — the cousins together, the grandkids with their grandmas, each family on their own, parents with their kids, and plenty of those little connections in between. And honestly, those are some of my favorite photos! There is something pretty special about having everyone together and knowing that these are memories these kids (and grandmas) will treasure for years to come.
