This was one of those extended family sessions that just feels special from the start—several generations together, all in one place, and ready to capture it all at a beautiful local garden setting. The garden was in full bloom with azaleas, which made such a pretty and natural backdrop for the day.
They had hoped for a setting with flowers, so it was really nice to be able to include that in the session. There were so many sweet moments throughout the afternoon—lots of laughter, kids being passed around, and everyone just enjoying the time together while I captured it as it unfolded.
Sessions like this are so meaningful to look back on over time. It’s not just the photos, but the feeling of being together in that stage of life, with everyone relaxed and enjoying each other. It was such a joy to photograph this family and create these images for them to enjoy for years to come. See some of my favorite images below from this beautiful session.
