Baby Boy and Girl Twins | Bethesda, Maryland Twin Newborn Photography

A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing this adorable set of baby boy and girl twins. I love meeting families who have just had a new baby or two. There is so much excitement, love and joy in the air.

Photographing multiples is a little trickier than photographing a single baby. It can be challenging to get two babies to pose and sleep at the same time. Which believe it or not, I completely love! Truly, I get really excited every time a mom of twins books a session. These two did not let me down, they were the most smiley twins I’ve ever photographed. I always try to capture smiles from all my newborns and these two made it easy!

Prior to photographing them, mom and dad had requested color in their session as opposed to neutrals. So we photographed lots of pink and blue. I always plan every session individually based on parents preferences and feedback.

I can’t wait to see this family again for their 6 month session! Congratulations again to mom and dad, they are so precious!

Thinking about booking a newborn session? It’s never too early! I suggest booking your newborn session in your second trimester to guarantee that I can photograph your family. When possible, I will try to accommodate later bookings as well. I only book a certain number of sessions per month, to ensure that I have availability around each due date. Newborn sessions are best when scheduled 5 – 14 days after the birth of the baby. We understand that this is not always possible and are happy to schedule babies at any age.
