A few weeks ago, I photographed the sweetest baby boy during his newborn session. I first met his wonderful parents at their maternity session a couple of months earlier, and I couldn’t wait to finally meet their son. As a mom myself, I know how exciting (and emotional!) those first few weeks are, so being invited to capture this special time means so much to me.
And let me tell you — this baby boy was not only adorable but also one of the smiliest newborn I’ve ever photographed. Most of the time I’m thrilled to catch one little grin during a newborn session, but this sweet boy smiled all the way through his portraits. It was pure magic, and I don’t think I stopped smiling behind the camera either.
Of course, his parents were just as lovely. They are so in love with their baby, and honestly, who could blame them? The love, the snuggles, the way they looked at him — it was a wonderful session and such a reminder of how beautiful these first days of parenthood really are.
Congratulations to this wonderful family of three! I already can’t wait to see them again for his six-month milestone session. It makes me so happy to know they’ll always have these newborn photographs to look back on and remember just how tiny, smiley, and perfect their baby boy was in those very first weeks.
