First Birthday Cake Smash | Maryland Cake Smash Photographer

I recently photographed this sweet girls first birthday cake smash session. We started out with family portraits in their home and ended our session with a fun, messy cake smash. Some babies take their time and need a little encouragement to try the cake. Not this sweet girl! As soon as we sat her down, she dove right into her cake, got all messy and loved it! She smiled throughout the wholes session and was such a joy to photograph.

Babies grow and change so much in their first year of life. Our cake smash session are designed to capture your baby’s birthday and 1st year milestones! These sessions include a portrait session for the whole family as well as a fun cake smash session where they can get all messy and enjoy their birthday cake.

We offer first year plans that are designed to capture changes and milestones throughout the whole first year of your baby’s life. As part of our plan, each family receives 3 portrait sessions: a newborn session, a 6 month session and a first year/cake smash session.
