Cake Smash Session! | First Birthday Photographer

Cake smash sessions are always so much fun! And this one was so special because I had photographed this sweet boy a few times over the last year. I met him and his family a year ago for his newborn session. As part of my first year plan, I also photographed them for his 6 month session and now his first year session. He has grown so much over the last year and has such an adorable personality. We’ve captured so many of his milestones this year and now we’ve captured his first bite of cake! And he loved it! Happy 1st birthday to this precious little guy!

Babies grow and change so much in their first year of life. Our first year plans are designed to capture these changes and milestones. As part of our plan, each family receives 3 portrait sessions: a newborn session, a 6 month session and a first year/cake smash session. Our cake smash session include a portrait session for the whole family as well as a cake smash session. Some of the milestones we plan to capture during the first year include siting up, smiling, standing and possibly walking.
